Join the Event-Day Volunteer Team

ECF is selecting a small team of dependable volunteers to help execute the private resident recognition program during Labor Day week.

Only three to four event-day volunteers are needed.

Volunteer Roles

Media and Consent Compliance

Capture approved photographs and video while carefully following all participant privacy, consent, and photography restrictions.

Package Distribution

Help match and present the correct personalized plaque and Legacy & Comfort Package to each participant.

Resident Engagement Assistance

Welcome participants, support respectful conversation, and help create a warm, dignified, and meaningful experience.

Documentation and Inventory

Track packages, plaques, volunteer participation, attendance, and final distribution records.

Volunteer Requirements

Event-day volunteers must:

  • be respectful, dependable, and attentive to detail;

  • be comfortable engaging with older adults;

  • complete a brief volunteer orientation;

  • follow ECF and host-site privacy procedures;

  • protect participant confidentiality;

  • refrain from taking or posting unauthorized photographs;

  • follow all package-handling and documentation instructions.

Volunteers will not provide medical care, personal care, transportation, medication assistance, crisis intervention, or other clinical services.

The resident recognition program is private and is not open to the general public. The exact location, arrival time, parking instructions, and access details will be provided only to selected and confirmed volunteers.

Submitting the volunteer form does not automatically confirm placement. ECF will contact selected applicants directly.
